Redefining HyperSTOL Aviation
Anticipating the needs of aviation enthusiasts, DRACO Aircraft is spearheading the HyperSTOL revolution. DRACO, our flagship HyperSTOL aircraft, promises to redefine the limits of short runway operations, offering aviation enthusiasts and professionals unparalleled versatility and cost-effectiveness. The Pratt & Whitney PT6A-28 turboprop engine, coupled with a 102-inch, four-blade MT propeller, propels DRACO to unparalleled performance. With a mere 80-foot takeoff distance, a 4,200-feet-per-minute climb, and a stall speed of around 35 mph, DRACO redefines the standards for STOL aircraft.

SAFETY, LUXURY and EXHILARATING AVIATION JOURNEY
DRACO AIRCRAFT: the preferred choice for private owners, the Draco cost structure represents a well-known maintenance approach. Calendar requirements with an extended 3,000-hour, coupled with the 12-year limited aircraft and engine overhaul requirement. Draco Aircraft’s dedication to creating low ongoing maintenance and insurance expenses effectively reduces the remaining fixed costs.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No. Draco will be full certified with FAA/EASA regulations.
To establish the airworthiness of Draco, Draco Aircraft will fully adhere to the EASA CS-23 Normal, Utility, Aerobatic, and Commuter Aeroplanes (European) and FAA CFR Part 23 Airworthiness Standards: Normal, Utility, Acrobatic, And Commuter Category Airplanes (US) regulations. These regulations represent the latest certification standards for normal category aircraft, harmonized globally by ICAO. They are precisely the standards that any newly certified aircraft must meet to demonstrate airworthiness.
We will embark on the modification and design of an entirely new aircraft, drawing inspiration from the Wilga legacy. This involves streamlining systems and incorporating new technology to enhance safety.
Equipped with this comprehensive understanding and knowledge, owner-operators will depart the factory and step into Draco ownership with a significant advantage and heightened safety awareness compared to many private aircraft owners currently in flight.
Will Draco will be approved to operate in different countries like the USA, Canada, EU or elsewhere?
Yes! Draco aircraft will be certified according to EASA and FAA regulations, which are compliant with most of the local or regional requirements. With our support including authorized maintenance and training programs we will accelerate the procedure and ensure approval within your jurisdiction. We will support you wherever you would like to fly.
Of course, Yes. As a certified aircraft, Draco will be limited to one pilot and 3 passengers with a maximum take-off weight defined according to the final type certificate.
Absolutely not. As a certified aircraft Draco adheres to stringent airworthiness and certification requirements. Draco complies with the latest EASA and FAA standards for normal category airplanes, which are often more stringent than those applied to currently flying light STOL aircraft certified under older regulations.
Our aircraft will undergo full design and production in our EASA-approved factory under the direct supervision of licensed professionals. This approach ensures the highest levels of safety, quality, and airworthiness, guaranteeing complete customer satisfaction
